Getting the most out of our Worship Services
What to expect
Expect a diverse congregation with people from all walks of life. Sunday morning is a traditional service with a wide variety of special music each week (from accordian to electric guitar). Sunday night is an informal Bible study time. On Wednesday night, you may come early for dinner and stay for short Bible study and prayer time.
Wear
Most of the congregation dresses casually. Whether T-shirts and jeans or dresses, slacks and tie--you'll fit right in!
Preparation
Enter the doors under the covered walkway and a deacon will welcome you with a church bulletin that lists the order of the service. If you are visiting for the first time, they will bring you a welcome packet during the service. The hymns and responsive readings are both in the pew Hymnal. Choruses are projected on the wall. The service includes a children's sermon where the children gather on the altar.
Church Bus Ministry
Buses run on Sunday morning 8:00-8:30 a.m. Please call 254-694-5472 for a ride.
Special Services
Nursery
A nursery is available for children birth-36 months old. The nursery is located through the glass doors closest to the deck, directly on the right.
Children's Church (fondly called "Little Church")
Children 2nd grade and younger are released to Children's Church after the Children's Sermon. You may attend with your child. You may pick up your child after the service in the Children's Sunday School classrooms in the educational building.
Cassettes
Services are recorded. If you would like a tape, please call 254-694-5472 or speak with a deacon after the service.
